
Created by a mindless doodle and a sarcastic room mate back in the 1980's, the Happy Mutant concept continues to represent the kid inside all of us. We take what our activities as serious as can be. But we take ourselves with not just a grain of salt, but with a salt lick! It isn't worth doing if you aren't having fun.
The Happy Mutant lives a lifestyle framed by our motto, “Be Active, Be Happy!” Happy Mutants don't sit by and watch others. We do stuff! We live what we sell. We won't ask you to do something that we aren't willing to do ourselves.
Between our HM product line and the events we produce this attitude is evident. We won't design or put our name on a product that we are not willing to trust our life with. Everything the Happy Mutant sells are products our staff uses each and everyday. Sure, we read the catalog, but we also test each item we bring in to make sure it meets our standards for quality and performance.
We don't just slap a Happy Mutant sticker on a product and call it good. By applying our attention to detail during the design and manufacturing process we produce some of the highest quality products at a price that anyone can afford. We designed our bikes to perform during a race and rolling around town. Our clothing line has been designed to cross-over from exercise to the coffee shop to the mall and still fit in. At the end of the day, we are consumers at heart.
Over the past three decades we have competed in enough events to know what racers like. Our events focus on the experience. Our awards and prizes go above and beyond what other events provide. We don't clutter up a white cotton t-shirt with a gazillion logos. If we aren't willing to wear our event shirts out, how can we expect you to? We will continue to be innovative in the events we put on because at the end of the day we are racers.
